Pilot project for commercial pineapple cultivation in Son Ha commune.
Sao Mai Agricultural Products Processing Joint Stock Company has signed a cooperation agreement to implement a model pineapple cultivation project focusing on concentrated commercial production and guaranteed product purchase. The model is being implemented in Dong Reng village on an area of 3.7 hectares, with approximately 220,000 seedlings. The total investment is over 700 million VND. The Hrê Agricultural Products and Cultural Tourism Cooperative, the Son Ha Agricultural Cooperative, and local households are directly involved in the production. The company provides seedlings, fertilizers, technical support, and guarantees the purchase of the output.
The implementation of this model not only effectively utilizes land resources, including areas under high-voltage power line corridors, but also forms a linkage of "four stakeholders": the State - Farmers - Cooperatives - Enterprises, creating a foundation for building concentrated raw material areas and gradually forming local agricultural product brands.
The launching ceremony for agricultural production at the beginning of 2026 demonstrates the determination of the Party Committee, government, and people of Son Ha commune in innovating production thinking, promoting sustainable agricultural development, and contributing to the achievement of the set socio- economic goals.
