There are many giant hotels around the world , but there is one that stands out, with more than 7,000 rooms. To put that in perspective, if this hotel was full with 14,000 guests at the same time, its population would be larger than towns in England such as Beccles, Whitby, Buckingham..., according to Express.uk .
You might think a hotel like this would be located in one of the world’s most modern cities, like Abu Dhabi or Dubai. But it’s actually located just outside a modern Southeast Asian city. It’s the First World Hotel, located on the outskirts of Malaysia’s capital, Kuala Lumpur. It first opened in 2002, and by 2015 it was the world’s largest hotel by number of rooms, a title it held for more than 10 years.

However, you don't have to go far to find everything you need. The hotel features SkyAvenue, which boasts a plethora of international retail brands, cafes and restaurants.
There is also Skytropolis Funland, an indoor theme park that offers fun experiences for visitors of all ages. It has 20 rides, including a thrilling reclining roller coaster. If those are a little too much for you, there are other fun rides like bumper cars and a Ferris wheel.
The amusement park has more than 20 games.

Other attractions within the hotel complex include a cinema, a casino and an indoor swimming pool. Guests can also choose from over 50 cafes, bars and restaurants for dining .
While many are impressed with Malaysia's largest hotel in the world, some reviews advise visitors to be prepared for crowds. One TripAdvisor reviewer wrote: "Service was efficient considering the large number of guests. The self-check-in kiosks help keep things moving quickly, but I would recommend arriving a little early to avoid overcrowding. The lifts can get very crowded during peak hours, so be patient."
The hotel is so vast it is almost difficult to describe.

Overall, the hotel received mixed reviews. One guest wrote: "I stayed at the First World Hotel during my annual trip to Genting, and even with a superior room, the experience was not up to par. The only real plus is the naturally cool weather - you don't even need a fan, just open the window and the fresh mountain air does the rest. The hotel's location next to the main shopping mall is also very convenient, with easy access to shops, the indoor theme park and just a short walk to the outdoor park."
