Jadon Sancho is ready to return to Borussia Dortmund next season, as he is about to have his contract with Manchester United terminated.
The German club also wants to bring Sancho back to Signal Iduna Park for a third time. However, the deal comes with a crucial condition: the English winger must take a pay cut.
Jadon Sancho currently earns £250,000 per week at Old Trafford, even though Aston Villa is paying 80% of his salary during his loan spell.
Dortmund are seriously considering signing Sancho. The club's leadership has been in contact with the player's representatives for the past few weeks.
Sporting director Sebastian Kehl proposed the transfer. Other key figures at Dortmund, including Lars Ricken and coach Niko Kovac, also supported the Sancho deal.
In fact, Jadon Sancho is still loved by many fans of the yellow and black team, after two successful spells playing in Germany.
In the summer of 2021, MU spent £73 million to bring in Sancho. However, he failed to live up to expectations, clashed with manager Ten Hag, and was repeatedly sent out on loan.
Sancho is currently playing for Aston Villa, but mostly as a substitute. With his career in decline, the player who came through the Man City academy wants to bounce back and find a new path.
Returning to Dortmund is seen as the perfect opportunity for Sancho to restore his reputation.
