Just days after officially joining Al-Hilal, Karim Benzema quickly proved his class as a top superstar with a brilliant performance in round 21 of the Saudi Pro League.

The French striker was given a starting spot by the coach in the away match against Al-Akhdoud and immediately became the center of attention in the game.

Karim Benzema had a dream debut at Al Hilal.

After more than half an hour of back-and-forth play, Benzema broke the deadlock with a delicate backheel in the penalty area, opening the scoring for the visitors. The goal allowed Al-Hilal to completely dominate the game against their less-fancied opponent.

In the second half, the link-up between Benzema and Malcom constantly troubled the Al-Akhdoud defense. In the 60th minute, Benzema easily tapped the ball in to double the lead, before completing his hat-trick just four minutes later with a cool close-range finish.

Not only did he score, the former Real Madrid star also left his mark with an assist that helped Malcom score in the 70th minute. When Benzema left the field, Salem Al-Dawsari continued to shine with a brace, sealing a resounding 6-0 victory for Al-Hilal.

Benzema's impressive debut helped Al-Hilal consolidate their top spot in the league, confirming their status as the strongest contender for the championship this season.
