Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles (VCV) has a significant presence in the UK, and recently announced that it delivered 401,000 vehicles worldwide last year. The company recorded growth across its entire ID. Buzz range by nearly 61,000 units, and the Multivan had its best year ever, while the Transporter also performed well.

Clearly, Volkswagen is aiming to strengthen the Transporter's position in the UK, where it has already launched two new versions. This year, Volkswagen celebrates the 75th anniversary of the Volkswagen Bus and more than two decades of producing " sport vans," and the new Transporter Sportline "represents the most unique and emotional expression in this product line."

The Volkswagen Transporter Sportline's personality is emphasized by its distinctive front and rear bumpers, rear spoiler, grille, mirror covers, and gloss black logo. It also features side skirts, roof rails, and a lowered suspension to highlight the exclusive 19-inch dual-layer alloy wheels. Matrix LED headlights and a signature red grille add a touch of premium style.

Stepping inside, the 2026 Volkswagen Transporter Sportline boasts eco-leather sports seats with red stitching, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, Sportline-branded floor mats, illuminated metal accents, footwell lighting, gloss black screen bezels, and illuminated sun visors, among other features.

The five-seater Kombi starts at £65,128 for the short-wheelbase version and £66,172 for the long-wheelbase version. To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the start of production of the legendary VW T2 bus, there will be a limited-edition Transporter Sportline 75 Special Edition.

Only 75 units were produced, featuring an exclusive moss green paint finish, contrasting green stitching on the seats and steering wheel, and rearview mirror caps with the 'Sportline 75' logo. Prices start at £64,552 for the van version and £66,928 for the Kombi version.
