Audi has just launched a mid-cycle refresh for its A5 sedan and Q5 SUV models, featuring several notable changes to interior design, comfort technology, and safety.
In the new version, the 2026 Audi A5 and Q5 are equipped with a completely new user interface in the Audi Digital Stage system – a three-screen combination with a digital instrument cluster, a curved infotainment screen, and a secondary screen for passengers.
The new interface is streamlined and more intuitive, allowing drivers to operate quickly without distractions. Notably, the Virtual Cockpit allows smartphone applications to be displayed, while front passengers can use Bluetooth headphones to view content separately.
The new steering wheel design on the 2026 Audi A5 and Q5 retains the touch-sensitive buttons, but now includes two physical scroll wheels, improving accuracy and ease of operation while the vehicle is in motion.
Additionally, the A5's interior offers optional Bang & Olufsen sound system with headrest speakers,
sports seats, and S Sport suspension. Both models come with the S line Black exterior sports package, which includes 19-inch (A5) or 20-inch (Q5) wheels and striking black accents.
A completely new feature integrated by Audi is the genuine dashcam, mounted directly behind the rearview mirror and controlled directly on the central screen. Data is stored on an SD card, allowing users easy access when needed.
The Park Assist Pro parking assistance system has also been upgraded, allowing the car to automatically steer itself when reversing into a space within a 50-meter radius. Additionally, the car can remember up to five different parking maneuvers (each up to 200 meters long) and perform them automatically while the car is moving within that specific area.
Especially for those who love a sporty driving experience, the 2026 Audi A5 will feature Dynamic Plus driving mode, which allows for control of oversteer thanks to fine-tuned quattro sports differential, brake force distribution, and electronic stability control (ESC).
Audi says the 2026 A5 will have a starting price of $50,200, a slight increase of $500 over its predecessor. Meanwhile, the 2026 Q5 will start at $52,800, $600 more than the 2025 model. Both models will officially go on sale this quarter.
