BABYMONSTER is seeing renewed chart success as ‘Really Like You,’ a B-side from the group’s first full length album DRIP, enjoys an unexpected resurgence driven by a viral dance challenge and growing fan engagement across platforms.

According to YG Entertainment on January 21, ‘Really Like You’ ranked No. 77 on YouTube Korea’s Weekly Top Songs chart for the period of January 9 to 15, 2026. The result is notable given that the track is not a recent release but an album cut that debuted approximately 14 months ago, making its current upward trajectory a rare example of long term reverse charting.

Chart Momentum Across Platforms

The song’s revival is not limited to YouTube. On Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Korea chart, ‘Really Like You’ jumped 47 spots in a single week, signaling a sharp rise in listener interest. It also climbed simultaneously on Circle Chart’s weekly Global K-pop, Digital, and Streaming charts, reinforcing the sense that the song’s renewed popularity is broad-based rather than platform-specific. Additional gains have been recorded on Apple Music, where the track reached No. 12, as well as on domestic platforms such as Melon and Vibe, where it has continued to set new personal bests on daily rankings.

A Fan-Driven Challenge Sparks the Revival

The catalyst behind the song’s resurgence appears to be a viral ‘Really Like You’ challenge, which gained traction following the release of a performance video from BABYMONSTER’s Japan fan concert in December. Clips from the stage quickly circulated online, drawing attention to the song’s lighthearted tone and memorable choreography.

The challenge centers on a point move in which performers form an “O” shape with their hands in sync with the lyrics, paired with small, playful gestures that visually express excitement and affection. The simplicity and charm of the choreography helped it spread organically, attracting participation from K-pop fans and fellow artists alike.

From January 11 to 15, ‘Really Like You’ topped TikTok Korea’s Music Viral 50 chart for five consecutive days. As of January 21, the song continues to rank near the top of both the Viral 50 and Rising 50 charts. The number of TikTok posts using the track has now surpassed 100,000, underscoring its sustained traction.

Growing Influence Going Into 2026

BABYMONSTER’s broader digital presence has amplified the song’s reach. The group recently surpassed 11 million subscribers on YouTube, becoming the fastest K-pop girl group to reach the milestone and solidifying their reputation as a rising force on the platform. Their official performance videos from year-end award shows, including MAMA and SBS Gayo Daejeon, ranked first in views, further extending their visibility.
