The group will launch its world tour, ‘THE X : NEXUS,’ with a three day concert in Seoul at KSPO Dome from January 30 to February 1. Following the Seoul shows, MONSTA X will head overseas to meet fans across multiple regions, including Asia and Latin America.
A Long Awaited Return to Global Touring
The upcoming tour carries particular significance as it marks MONSTA X’s first world tour since September 2022. The announcement comes shortly after the group celebrated its 10th anniversary, making the tour both a milestone and a statement of continued momentum. In recent months, MONSTA X has reinforced its global presence through appearances such as the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour in the United States, where the group performed in major cities and showcased its performance driven appeal to international audiences.
Strong Momentum From Recent Releases
MONSTA X enters the tour following a series of notable achievements in 2025. In May, the group released ‘NOW PROJECT vol.1,’ a full group re-recording album that topped iTunes Top K-pop Albums charts in eight countries, including the United States, France, and Germany. Despite being a re-recording project, the album ranked within the top 10 in 18 regions, underscoring the group’s sustained global demand.
The momentum continued with the September release of the mini album ‘THE X,’ which featured direct participation from producing members Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M. The album recorded over 427,000 copies in first week sales, setting a new career high and reaffirming MONSTA X’s status as a self producing group with strong fan support.
Individual Activities Add to Group Energy
MONSTA X also opened 2026 with Joohoney’s second solo mini album, ‘INSANITY,’ released following his military discharge. The project highlighted his growth as a solo artist while reinforcing the group’s overall creative depth. With individual and group activities aligning, expectations are high for how the energy from recent releases will translate onto the global stage.
