Nissan Philippines has officially launched the all-new Nissan Patrol, marking the debut of the seventh-generation model. First unveiled in Abu Dhabi last year, the latest iteration of the iconic SUV boasts a combination of power, technology, and luxury.

The new Patrol presents a bold and rugged exterior, featuring Nissan’s signature V-motion grille, which is wider and seamlessly integrated into the body. It is flanked by upgraded Double C-shaped LED headlights for enhanced visibility. The rear design mirrors the front with a full-width light bar. Completing its robust look are 20-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels with thick sidewall tires, which provide high ground clearance for both on-road and off-road performance.

An adaptive air suspension system allows adjustable ride height, improving aerodynamics, passenger entry, and cargo loading. The Patrol offers six driving modes—Standard, Sand, Rock, Mud/Rut, Eco, and Sport—along with a newly introduced 4WD transfer mode interlock system, enabling seamless transitions across different terrains.

Under the hood, the seventh-generation Patrol introduces a 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbo engine producing 425 horsepower and 700Nm of torque. This represents a 7% increase in power and a 25% boost in torque compared to the outgoing V8 engine, along with improved fuel efficiency. The high heat-resistant turbocharger and scavenge oil pump ensure reliable performance on various terrains.

The cabin combines premium materials with advanced technology. Inspired by the traditional Japanese Kumiko craft, quilted leather seats provide comfort, with selected trims offering massage functionality and eight-way adjustment. A panoramic sunroof enhances the already spacious interior.

A new infotainment system features a 28.6-inch Monolith display with dual 14.3-inch screens for navigation, entertainment, and vehicle information. Rear passengers benefit from optional 12.8-inch screens supporting Miracast, HDMI, and USB inputs.

The Patrol also introduces a 600W, High-Fidelity 12-speaker Klipsch Premium Audio system, optimizing sound quality wherever you are seated.

The new Patrol offers increased cargo space, up to 30% more than its predecessor, with an improved storage capacity of 9 liters across glove and console boxes. EZ Flex seats enable easy third-row access without removing a child seat, while a power-folding third-row adapts for storage needs.

Speaking of the third row, where other manufacturers usually neglect this part, Nissan manages to give it motorized recline, which helps with both legroom and headroom.

A newly designed frame enhances dynamic torsional rigidity, reducing vibrations. Damping acoustic glass minimizes noise, creating a quieter ride.

Panorama View offers Ultra-Wide and Invisible Hood View, projecting real-time images of obstacles. Safety features include Intelligent Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, and Rear Automatic Emergency Braking.
