Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) gives the popular Triton pickup a subtle makeover for the 2026 model year. The pickup truck now receives black accents inside and out similar to that found on the top-spec Triton Athlete, giving it a more rugged look. Best of all, the blacked out accents are found in almost every variant available.

For the Triton GX and GLX variants, these received a more rugged and assertive appearance with black-finished exterior elements, including door handles, side mirrors and rear bumper.

The GLX variant, which previously had gray 18-inch alloy wheels, now has wheels finished in black as well. These enhancements give both variants a stronger and more confident stance—perfect for those who need a dependable workhorse with added visual appeal.

Meanwhile, the Triton GLS also adopts the same updates as  the GX and GLX variant, but also features a Blacked-out Dynamic Shield front fascia and a black front under garnish. In addition, the interior of the GLS variant also gets the blacked-out treatment, now featuring leather seats replacing the fabric seats of before.

“While the new black accents enhance the Triton’s exterior appeal, they also reflect its core strength which is the ability to endure and perform under pressure,” says MMPC.

The updated Mitsubishi Triton with black accents are now available at dealers nationwide.
