The Nissan Festival will feature a range of activities centered on Nissan’s past, present, and future products. The program will highlight iconic Nissan nameplates that represent the brand’s motorsport and performance roots, alongside newer models that reflect Nissan’s current design and engineering direction.
Attendees can participate in test drives, interactive displays, and parade laps at the track. Nissan car clubs and heritage vehicles will take part in the parade laps, offering a closer look at the brand’s history and enthusiast culture. These activities are designed to give visitors hands-on exposure to Nissan’s engineering, design, and motorsports background.
A key highlight of the event is the appearance of Hiroshi Tamura, widely known as the “Father of GT-R.” Tamura was involved in the development of the R35 GT-R from its early concept stage and played a major role in shaping it into a global performance icon. During the event, guests will have the opportunity to meet Tamura, join a Q&A session, and take part in a hot lap around the circuit with him.
Nissan Philippines brand ambassador Matteo Guidicelli will also be present at the festival. Nissan has also hinted at additional surprises planned throughout the day.
The Nissan Festival will officially begin at 10:00 a.m. on February 1, 2026, at Clark International Speedway. Nissan Philippines invites fans, owners, and the general public to attend and participate in a full day of activities and on-track events.
Our Take:
It’s about time that Nissan Philippines is finally holding an enthusiast event of their own. Toyota Motor Philippines and Mazda Philippines have been hosting the Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippine Cup and the Miata Spec Series/Mazda Fan Festa, which owners can feel happy to be part of and complete the overall ownership experience.
Nissan, having such a deep enthusiast audience with some very iconic cars in the past, it is only right that Nissan Philippines should start doing this every year or two.
