Tesla has begun showcasing its new Model Y L six-seater in the Philippines, with public viewing already commencing at the Tesla Center BGC.
The vehicle was first presented during a private preview, where Senior Director Isabel Fan highlighted the company’s broader strategy. She said Tesla is building an integrated ecosystem that combines electric vehicles, energy storage, and robotics.
The Model Y L is positioned as a family-oriented electric vehicle, offering up to 681 km of range (WLTP standard) and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5 seconds. It also provides up to 2,539 liters of cargo space.
The six-seater layout features three rows, with second-row captain’s chairs equipped with powered armrests, one-touch folding, ventilation, and heating. The third row includes power recline, one-touch folding, and its own climate control system.
Tesla said the Model Y L focuses on comfort and refinement, with acoustic glass, an updated suspension system, and new 19-inch Machina wheels. It also comes with an 18-speaker sound system with a subwoofer. The vehicle uses adaptive suspension and electronic damping to adjust to road conditions, aiming to improve ride quality and handling.
The Model Y L has an indicative starting price of P2,849,000.
Aside from the BGC display, the vehicle will also be showcased at Power Plant Mall, specifically at the South Court, from April 6 to 19, 2026.
