The Nissan Juke nameplate has long been axed from the Philippines, but elsewhere in the world it is still available. At the Nissan Vision event, the brand also revealed the next-generation Juke alongside the other concept and teasers we saw – from the upcoming Skyline to the new X-Trail.

As for the all-new Juke, Nissan gave it a radical redesign, and it looks quite wild. There’s black body cladding all around, and a very angular body lines. The other images might make it seem like a concept car, but that’s actually the final production model. Then again, the Juke has always had a funky design, and this new model is no different.

What is different about the all-new Nissan Juke is the powertrain. The Juke drops the engine in exchange for an all electric powertrain. Nissan has yet to reveal specific details about the EV powertrain yet. What we do know is that it is based on Nissan’s CMF-EV platform which is similar to the Leaf EV.

At the time of writing, the new Nissan Juke EV will be sold only in Europe. There’s no word yet whether it will be sold in South East Asia. But do you think Nissan Philippines should bring it in? Share your thoughts below.
