The Google I/O 2025 event date has been revealed via their website. Google’s annual developer conference will take place on May 20-21 at the Shoreline Amphitheater in California.
The kickoff is scheduled for 10:00 AM PT, with Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai holding the opening keynote. This will be followed by developer-related and/or technical sessions.
Google also confirmed that the main keynotes and sessions from the event will be livestreamed. The company also made a game that revealed the date for this year’s I/O event.
Of course, netizens are looking forward to more than just developer findings from the event. Google I/O also holds the announcements for new hardware devices and the latest Android versions.
Last year’s keynote included the Gemini model updates, Imagen 3 model, Project Astra, and more. With how things have looked recently, it’s suggested that this year will focus on AI again.
Teasers have been pointing towards updates on open source models, Google AI studio, and NotebookLM. Interested readers may also expect an update on Android 16 (currently in public beta) prior to its expected official OTA release rumored for launch on June 3.
Lastly, we should also expect a preview for the Pixel 10 series. After all, Google has been teasing upcoming hardware for a minute. Are you guys excited for Google I/O 2025? Let us know what you think!
