TOYOTA GAZOO Racing (TGR) will exhibit at Tokyo Auto Salon 2026, held from January 9 to 11 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. The TGR booth will feature the new GR GT and GR GT3 flagship models, along with a range of vehicles, parts, and brand-related activities. The exhibit will be located in the North Hall alongside other Toyota Group companies, including Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. and Toyota Industries Corporation.

TGR Chairman Akio Toyoda, also known as Master Driver Morizo, is scheduled to appear at a media-only press conference on January 9 from 9:00 a.m. The event will be livestreamed for the public.

The GR GT and GR GT3, which debuted on December 5, will be shown to the public for the first time at Tokyo Auto Salon 2026. Both models are also scheduled to take part in demonstration runs on January 10.

The TGR booth will include cutaway displays of Toyota’s first all-aluminum body frame and a production 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine, both used in the GR GT and GR GT3. Other vehicles on display will include the GR Yaris MORIZO RR currently under development, the GR Yaris Sébastien Ogier 9x World Champion Edition, and additional concept models.

Throughout the three-day event, TGR will host talk sessions featuring Morizo and TGR drivers active in Japan and overseas. Outdoor demonstration runs are planned for the GR GT, GR GT3, and rally cars, with the GR GT and GR GT3 making their first public driving appearances.

Merchandise sales will be offered at the booth, including new GR GT-related items. Planned products include a 1/43-scale three-car model set featuring the GR GT, Lexus LFA, and Toyota 2000GT, priced at 69,850 yen a piece, as well as a 1/43-scale GR GT3 model. New collaboration items will also debut, including Oakley x TGR sunglasses and apparel developed with New Era.

TGR will also relaunch its official smartphone application as the “GR app” on January 9. The updated app expands on the existing GR Passport features and introduces functions such as a “Home Garage,” user ranking based on vehicle ownership, parts purchases, and event participation, as well as access to lotteries and other benefits.

The GR Heritage Parts program will display prototype parts scheduled for release in 2026. These include an A80 Supra dashboard prototype, a 4A-GE engine cylinder head and block for the AE86 planned for release in May 2026, and reproduced or reissued parts for the A70 Supra, A80 Supra, and Land Cruiser.

Also on display will be GR Parts, including the “GR PERFORMANCE SOFTWARE,” which expands the Circuit Mode functionality on compatible models. The system is designed to enhance vehicle performance across a wider range of driving conditions. Additional GR Parts, including upcoming and in-development items, will be exhibited.
