Positioned as “The New Standard for Everyday Driving,” the Eado Plus is expected to serve as one of Changan’s key volume models in the country. It combines a modern design, a spacious cabin, and a range of technology and safety features aimed at daily use.
The Eado Plus features a prominent three-dimensional front grille that gives the car a wider stance. Standard lighting includes halogen projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, and an automatic headlight function.
The side profile includes smooth body lines, body-colored door handles, and heated, power-adjustable side mirrors with integrated turn signals. The Luxe variant rides on 16-inch alloy wheels, while the Lite variant gets 16-inch steel wheels.
At the rear, the sedan uses LED taillights connected by a chrome garnish, along with a fin-type antenna.
Inside, the Eado Plus offers a spacious cabin with black fabric seats. The driver’s seat has 6-way manual adjustment, while the passenger’s seat has 4-way adjustment.
The Lite variant comes with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth and USB, paired with two speakers. The Luxe variant upgrades to a 10-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and USB, along with four speakers.
Both variants include a 10.25-inch TFT instrument cluster, a rear window defogger, LED cabin lights, a 12V socket, and USB ports in both rows. A PM2.5 air filter is also standard.
Additional features on the Luxe variant include automatic climate control, rear air vents, steering wheel controls, tilt-and-telescopic steering adjustment, and foldable rear seats. The Lite variant gets tilt steering and a mechanical gear selector.
No electrification here with power coming from a 1.5-liter Bluecore gasoline engine producing 105 hp and 145 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed wet-type dual-clutch transmission.
The sedan uses front-wheel drive, electronic power steering, MacPherson strut front suspension, and a torsion beam rear setup. The Luxe variant adds Eco and Normal drive modes.
Standard safety features include dual front airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), electronic stability program (ESP), traction control, brake assist, hill hold control, hill start assist, tire pressure monitoring system, rear parking sensors, and ISOFIX anchors.
The Luxe variant adds side airbags, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, reverse camera, smart entry, push-button start, remote engine start, and speed-sensing door locks.
