With the gas and diesel prices at an all-time high, it’s no surprise that business owners are also considering electric commercial vehicles.
One brand that caught our attention at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show is Karry. Karry is now selling a wide range of fully electric commercial vehicles from tiny trucks to vans.
Karry has three vehicles on display – the EV Van, the EV Truck, and perhaps our favorite, the Mini-X.
The EV Van series, as the name suggests, is an electric van similar to other commercial vans on the market. Depending on the model and variant, it can have up to 270 kilometers of driving range and a 2,000kg net payload capacity.
As for the EV Truck series, it is also available in various configurations – from a dropside to just a barebones variant, as the one they had on display. There are various battery options available with range up to 401 kilometers.
Meanwhile, the Mini-X is our favorite of the bunch. It reminds us of the kei trucks we see in Japan, given its small size. It might not be able to carry as much as the other trucks Kary offers, but it might just suit someone’s need for their small business.
For those interested, the Karry Mini-X starts at PHP 435,000, while the other two electric trucks retail for around PHP 1,585,000, depending on the variant.
